What is the cost of membership?

A Little Black Book membership is $299 per year.First-year memberships must be paid-in-full and include a 12-month commitment. After your first year, you have the option to finance your dues at $30 per month on a month-to-month basis.

Can I attend events as a non-member?

If you’re wondering whether non-members are allowed to attend events, the answer is yes! However, non-members are limited to attending just two meetings before you are required to become a member. Additional ticketed events such as BrrrBASH, BECOME: Women’s Day of Inspiration, and Girls Gone Wine are open to members and guests alike.

Do I have to own a business to join Little Black Book?

Not at all! Little Black Book: Women in Business welcomes all individuals who identify as female, regardless of industry or company. We’re a supportive network for women in business and leadership, offering a safe space to connect, share vulnerabilities, and pursue aspirations. Whether you own a business, build a book of business for a larger company, or serve as an executive, you’ll find empowerment, self-development, and community service opportunities with us.

As a member, may I visit other Little Black Book chapter events?

Yes! One of the major benefits of membership is that you are invited and encouraged to attend Coffee & Connections®, as well as any public events hosted by our chapters. Additionally, members are eligible to attend any of the meetings and events offered by its Affinity Groups. Explore and make connections across all our Chapters and Affinity Groups!

Are men allowed to attend Little Black Book: Women in Business hosted events?

Little Black Book: Women in Business provides a safe environment where women in business and leadership can connect, share their vulnerabilities, and pursue their aspirations. To preserve this integrity, Little Black Book’s hosted programming is available exclusively to women. Men are invited to attend Mix, Mingle, and Network events as well as the annual BrrrBASH Gala.

How do I update my personal or credit card information?

To access your account, just click on this link and enter your password. If you can’t remember your password, no worries! Just click on the “Forgot Password” link next to the login button and the system will send you a temporary password.

You can update all of your information in your profile. If you need to update your credit card information, navigate to your profile page. Midway down, you will find a pink link that says “Update Credit Card.” Click on the link to update your credit card information. Unfortunately, the membership software we use does not allow HQ to update and save your credit card information. You have to do this directly with your account.

Does Little Black Book have an app?

Do I have to be a member to attend a meeting hosted by one of the LBB AFFINITY Groups?

Yes. Little Black Book currently hosts 8 Affinity Groups that cater to members’ social or professional interests. These meetings are reserved for members only.

How often does Little Black Book host meetings?

Little Black Book hosts several hundred meetings each year. Each chapter hosts monthly Coffee & Connections and Members Only Meetings. Additionally, chapters offer various connection opportunities such as Mix, Mingle, and Network events, Brown Bag Lunch, and Wine & Workshop sessions. Members can also participate in LBB Affinity Group meetings, the monthly Networking and Empowerment Luncheon, and the annual BECOME: Women’s Day of Inspiration and BrrrBASH Gala.

Is there a virtual connection opportunity if I can't make the meetings?

Yes! Little Black Book offers a robust series of online communities. Members are invited to join the LBB Connect & Share private Facebook Group where they can collaborate, promote, and post events as a FREE member benefit. Additionally, LBB hosts private Facebook groups to support each Chapter and Affinity Group. If you’re unable to attend meetings, make your presence known virtually. LBB is also curating a digital library of content that members may access for self development materials.

Do I need to be a member of Little Black Book to enroll in courses, bootcamps, and retreats?

No, membership in Little Black Book is not required to apply for courses, bootcamps, and retreats. However, members do receive discounts for self-development opportunities that extend beyond standard membership benefits. Additionally, membership is not mandatory to attend LBB’s annual signature events BECOME: Women’s Day of Inspiration and BrrrBASH Gala.

How do I cancel my membership?

We hate to see anyone leave, but we understand that sometimes life happens. Should a member wish to discontinue their membership in Little Black Book after their initial 12-month subscription. We do request you give us at least 7 days notice prior to your renewal date. This will give us time to modify your membership status, remove you from the directory, and inform your chapter leaders. No dues or fees are refundable. Whether or not you utilize the Member Programs and Services, you are obligated to the annual membership dues.
